A deeper look into the acl injury
This website takes a closer look at the science, history, and long term affects of the ACL injury. We have researched the differences in the recovery timelines among males and females who have faced the challenge of recovering from this devastating injury. It seems that recovery time varies from athlete to athlete, but in general, it takes 9 months to a full year to be back to normal completely for both genders.
We have conducted three interviews, one of which with a U of R football player named Jordan Honjiyo, another with a U of R women’s soccer player named Chrissy Keck, and a third with U of R head athletic trainer Eric Rozen. We have learned essential information from them through our interviews.
